Valuations and Appraisals

Valuations and appraisals are often required for various reasons by a company or private individual to determine a value when someone has passed away. In addition to this, values are also required to determine the actual value of an asset for financial gain and to settle disputes. Many companies also require valuations to be done for insurance purposes and to determine actual correct values to stakeholders of Companies on an annual basis, when financial reports need to be submitted.

Should you wish to sell assets on auction, there will be no cost for the valuation service.

Understanding the value of assets is imperative to being able to sell them, and of course, selling assets is key to understanding their value.

Appraisals are done for the following reasons:

To understand the value of items in order to settle disputes
To support mergers and acquisitions
For estate purposes when someone has passed away
For tax purposes
For insurance purposes

Devco Auctioneers can provide you with both valuations and appraisals, depending on your requirements. We do however understand that you may not feel comfortable with us selling and valuating your assets. If this is the case, we can arrange for an independent appraiser and valuator to assist in the matter. No job is too small.
